WOMEN'S NATIONAL LEAGUE (WOMAN)

Die Women's National League (WNL; Irisch: Sraith Náisiúnta na mBan) ist die höchste Spielklasse im Frauenfußball in der Republik Irland. Es wird von der Football Association of Ireland und der Women's Football Association of Ireland organisiert. Die LFAI (Ladies Football Association of Ireland) organisierte in den 1970er und 1980er Jahren eine nationale Frauenliga, die als Ladies League of Ireland oder Women's League of Ireland bekannt war. Die aktuelle Liga wurde 2011 gegründet und die ersten Gewinner waren Peamount United. Die Siegerinnen qualifizieren sich für die UEFA Women's Champions League.
